PIANO REQUIREMENTS: One nine-foot (9') concert grand piano is preferred, in excellent condition, to be tuned to • A-440" on the morning of performance and an adjustable piano bench and clip light. A Steinway is preferred, but any other "excellent' concert grand piano or grand piano from 6' to 9' should be acceptable. Piano should be placed at least 1 O' upstage

AUDIO REQUIREMENTS: ARTIST will not provide audio equipment. ARTIST will use "Venue• audio system, which should include appropriate and professional audio console, power amps, equalizers, speakers, and monitors for venue dimensions. (The performers do travel with two Sennheiser wireless headset mic systems with XLR outputs and two Shure 809 boundary mies with XLR outputs that will be patched into the house sound system and used to amplify vocals and taps. Four XLR jacks and mixing channels should be set aside for these microphones).

•    One spare wireless handheld mic (Example: Shure SM58 Wireless) on stand located in an offstage wing to be used in case of performer headset failure and/or presenter intro
•    A professional stereo CD player connected to mixing board for instrumental track playback OR digital audio system (computer) capable of WAV or MP3 playback (audio file to be provided day-of-show via CD and/or MAC/PC USB flash drive) to be operated by technician. ALTERNATIVELY, a 1/8" direct input line for computer playback (to be controlled by pianist) placed on a small table or stool directly upstage of the piano bench.
•    Fresh batteries for performers' vocal and floor mies. Four (4) AA batteries and two (2) 9V batteries per performance are required.
•    Piano and Pianist Vocals: One (1) vocal microphone on boom [Example: Shure SM58] and at least one (1) PZM or boom microphone for piano [Example: Crown PZM 6-D or Shure SM57J
•    Two (2) downstage vocal monitor wedges DSR and DSL set at 50% vocal and 50% CD playback (will adjust during sound check)
•    One (1) monitor wedge upstage of piano stool, with separate mix, initially set at 50% vocals/pianist vocals and 50% piano (will adjust during sound check).
•    Multi-channel mixing board with appropriate number of inputs/outputs and amplifiers with appropriate cables sufficient to send clear sound throughout the venue
